I was inspired to study Optometry by my Uncle who practised in Townsville. He told me 'Have a job that involves talking to people ' people's stories are always interesting'. So that's what I did. Outside of work, I am attempting to learn to play the piano and improve my photography.

I became an Optometrist as it gave me an opportunity to have a positive influence on people's lives. I love spending time with my family, exercising, reading books and playing with my dog.

Giving back
Bridge Eye Care is dedicated to community efforts. Over the past two years we have entered a team into the local 'Relay For Life', raising funds for cancer support networks. We recycle all paper products and sponsor a child through World Vision. Sponsorship is provided to a local netball club and various charities via donations to raffles and quiz nights.
