Melissa Ung
After receiving my first pair of glasses and seeing the board at school clearly, I became passionate in pursuing optometry in order to help others with their sight. I love meeting new patients and sharing experiences. I believe it's important to educate patients of their ocular health to ensure the continuity of healthy vision. My interests include children’s vision and ocular disease management, and I’ve spent most of my career working in regional Victoria where I’ve gained extensive experience managing ocular diseases (including diabetic eye disease, glaucoma and macular degeneration) as well as paediatric optometry (including myopia and amblyopia management).
If not traveling overseas, I enjoy catching up with friends trying new delicious food and baby sitting my little nieces and nephew.

Practising Optometry is highly rewarding, I enjoy meeting new people and helping them to see better every day. I have always had strong interests in diagnostic processes and solving problems. Outside of work I am involved in Historic Motorsport and enjoy restoring cars of the 70's and 80's.
