I enjoy helping people in the community achieve their best possible vision and find it rewarding to be involved in the care and management of eye diseases and vision complications. Being an optometrist provides a stimulating and ever-changing work environment. Outside of optometry, I enjoy weightlifting, golf, boating, walking our Labrador and spending time with my family.
Ben Park
I pursued a career in optometry because I had a deep interest in physics and optics. I enjoy the challenge of differential diagnosis which comes with eye disease management and helping people see and look their best. I've now been practising for 16 years. Outside of optometry, I am learning Latin, love to weightlift, golf and make things out of wood and other materials.
Giving back
We provide easy access to eye care and supply free glasses through the government Medical Aids Supply Scheme to Pension & Health Care card holders. We also Bulk Bill all eye examinations.
