Bathurst has a strong sense of community. Of course, we have that big car race every year but there are a lot of arts, sporting and cultural activities to participate in.

I chose Optometry because it is wonderful to see the end product of a pair of glasses that enables the patient to look and see their best. After work I love spending time with my two children - helping with school and sporting activities.
Laurence Outim
I think it is great being able to help people by improving their vision and I really enjoy the variety of people I meet working in a country practice. Outside of work I am one of the founding members of the Bathurst Pan Dragons who race dragon boats on Chifley Dam.

As a previous winner of the WHK Carillon Bathurst Business Award for the Most Outstanding Business of the Year, Angela Morris Optometrist are proud of our ongoing reputation for quality customer service and regularly giving back to the community that supports us. We conduct free child vision assessments in preschools and schools, and sponsor community initiatives such as local theatre performances, sporting groups, schools and charities.
