Ascot Optical is an independent practice as I wanted to have control over the quality and professionalism of all aspects of my practice. Offering genuine, high quality, personalised eyecare was a priority for me and an independent approach gives me the scope to do exactly that.

I love working and living in the very popular suburb of Ascot as I feel that we are part of a large, vibrant community. Racecourse Road, in particular, never fails to provide the best in all aspects of fashion, food and fun!

I've been practising optometry for the past 39 years. I followed in the footsteps of my uncle who was an Optometrist, as I appreciated how he was able to help his patients with their visual needs. When I'm not consulting in my practice, I love spending time with the family, golfing, and walking our dog along the Newstead Reach of the river.
Giving back
Our Optometrist Bernie attends numerous local nursing homes to service those who cannot physically make it into Ascot Optical, and our staff follow up with organising and delivering spectacles and any other requirements.
