At Buck & Todd Optometrists, our friendly and experienced team have been caring for the Mackay community for almost 70 years. Our practice is equipped with the latest optometric technology so that we can provide you with a comprehensive eye care experience and vision solutions that are tailored to your specific needs. We have a keen interest in behavioural optometry and complex eye diseases, and our optometrist Ieuan is qualified to prescribe ocular therapeutic medications.

As an independent practice, our primary focus is delivering a high level of quality vision care. We invest the time we need to care for your eyes adequately; and have access to over 50 suppliers for frames, sunglasses and lenses, which means we have products to suit every style and budget.

I am passionate about improving your vision, both visual acuity and binocular eye coordination. It is truly rewarding to be able to provide optimal vision solutions that help to improve the quality of a person's life. I have been an optometrist for 31 years to date. I spend my spare time travelling with my family.
Giving back
Our practice supports Mackay North State High School by providing a charitable donation at their school fairs. This year, we will be donating a comprehensive Visual Information Processing eye exam for children, which is to be auctioned at the Mackay Mayor's Charity Ball. We also collect old glasses, which we donate to Lions Club International to help those less fortunate.
