Tony Burgun
I always wanted to be in a profession that helps people and also had a keen interest in the health field. I found that Optometry enabled me to bring both my interests together while connecting with people and assisting with their ocular health and well-being. In my spare time, I am an active sportsperson and participate in golf, water skiing and snow skiing. I also enjoy travelling, good food & wine, art, reading and watching the football and cricket.
Joshua Williams
At school, I was always interested in science, medicine & health. I feel that sight is our most amazing and important sense and optometry gives me the opportunity to help people see better and prevent vision loss. I’ve been a practicing optometrist for 12 years to date. Outside work, I have been a long-time committee member with a Dubbo cricket club and actively playing cricket each season. I also enjoy playing soccer and touch-football and am a tragic West Tigers League supporter! I also enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.
Giving back
Even though we are based in Dubbo, we travel to a number of remote and rural communities to assist those who don't have access to vision care. We also donate to a number of local charities.
