Clear Optometry is a locally owned and run practice in Bargara, with a 100% commitment to providing comprehensive, patient-focused, personalised eyecare to the Bundaberg community. We see every patient as a unique individual and our goal is to use our skills, experience, knowledge and state of the art equipment to address their needs. We love being a part of the community and building long term relationships with our patients, and take pride in providing a friendly, welcoming environment.

Being independent gives us the freedom to provide the time and level of care required to best serve our patients' needs. I've worked in corporate optometry and found the time limitations placed on tests in order to see a high volume of patients too restrictive. I would rather see less patients and provide the provide the comprehensive eyecare I feel they need.

What's not to love? We have fantastic beaches, great weather, lots of quality dining options, plenty of places to get a good coffee and most importantly a relaxed and happy atmosphere. There can't be many better places to come to work than Bargara.

Optometry gives me the ability to help people in a very immediate and real way. Vision is a vital part of life and there are few things more rewarding than seeing the smile on someone's face when you've helped them to see better, and it's been a pleasure to do this for over 20 years. I also love to spend time with family, as well following the Australian cricket team, the QLD Bulls and Brisbane Heat!
Giving back
Every year we sponsor our local Bowls Club and Veterans' Golf Club, we collect used glasses for the Lions Club and have provided free vision screenings at our local primary school. Clear Optometry also regularly donates prizes and gift vouchers to local charities and organisations.
