As an independent practice, your eye care is our core priority. We utilise the latest technology including retinal photography, corneal topography, threshold visual fields analysis and digital microscope photography. We continue to invest in the latest cutting-edge technologies as it allows us to detect and treat conditions such as macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetes.

What we love about Fremantle?
Fremantle is a small village, full of life and colour and is home to a great art and design heritage. In 2003, there was an ad in the optometry journal searching for an optometrist ‘looking for a challenge’ in Fremantle. Intrigued by the location and advert, optometrist David met with Mr. Laurie Elliott for an interview. The challenge was to purchase and manage Elliot & Elliot, which was one of Perth's oldest optometry practices, with a great history. David instantly loved the idea of owning his own practice, especially in Fremantle! The rest is history.

My career as an optometrist began in Ireland before moving to Australia. I completed my fellowship studies in optometry, with a post-graduate certificate in ocular therapeutics, and have been a practicing optometrist for 25 years. I have a keen interest in achieving precise, visual correction and the reduction of visual stress to optimise your vision to suit your lifestyle needs. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, windsurfing, cycling and running.

Fremantle is known for its arts. We work with local artists to provide a space for them to display their works in our store & promote their artwork during our in-store events & including it in our marketing material!
