We love to go the extra mile and our independence supports our commitment to patient satisfaction. For our patients with keratoconus and other significant eye problems we have the flexibility to fully custom design and invent vision solutions if there are not any commercially available.

At secondary school I enjoyed physics and I thought that optometry would be a great way to apply my love of physics and meet people. It turned out to be a great decision and I've now been practising for 20 years. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, as well as volunteering my time to progress the Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia.
Marissa Megaloconomos
I chose to be an optometrist as my great-grandfather lost his sight in an accident at the age of 16 years and I wanted to learn more about vision to better understand his life. I have been practising since 2009 and have a particular interest in orthokeratology, keratoconus and post corneal graft patients.
Giving back
We give back to the optometry profession by providing clinical education at QUT's School of Optometry, and lecturing at national and international conferences to both Optometrists and Ophthalmologists.
