We believe in what we do as eye care professionals. That's why for almost 60 years, Dwyer & Ross Optometrists have been of the most respected, largest optometric practices on the Redcliffe Peninsula. Our optometrists, Dennis, Murray and Katie take the time to complete a thorough and detailed eye examination, where your eye care needs are fully assessed. We invest in the latest technology which allows us to provide a full range of optometric services. We believe that each individual requires a unique eyewear solution and that our independence allows us to offer you the widest range of choices. We deliver innovative, premium products, backed by our unique guarantee. Our dedicated and caring team are well qualified and passionate about providing care to complement our optometrists. We believe you deserve nothing less!
This was an easy choice for us. Independent optometry allows us to control the quality of the services and products that we provide and always put your needs first.
Margate on the Redcliffe Peninsula is an amazingly beautiful beachside suburb with a tremendous sense of community. It has been a popular holiday destination for generations and we enjoy seeing our loyal country and overseas patients every year. We welcome newcomers who have decided on a sea-change.
Dwyer and Ross Optometrists are passionate about making a real difference in our local community. Our beautiful Moreton Bay and coastal foreshores need to be protected and we make an effort to reduce waste in the optical industry.
In the age of throw away, we choose frames for their quality, durability and longevity. Once the frame and lenses come to their end of use for our patients, they are sent to the Lions Recycle for Sight programme. Here they are sorted and distributed to optical missions around the world.
As a community collection hub for the TerraCycle recycling programme, contact lenses and packaging do not find their way into land fill but become recycled product. We actively re-use and recycle packaging in an effort to reduce waste within our office.
Our fundraising efforts proudly support Optometry Giving Sight and the Guide Dogs.
