Envision Optical has been a family-owned practice for over 21 years. Our team is passionate about your eyes and are committed to providing you and your family with comprehensive, personalised eyecare to suit your lifestyle needs. We use the latest optical technologies and provide specialty services including myopia control, complex contact lens management and Orthokeratology, as well as a Dry Eye clinic. Our optometrists, Andrew and Cassie, are therapeutically endorsed to prescribe medications to treat eye conditions that may arise.

As an independent means we can provide tailored eyecare solutions to suit to each and every individuals needs. We have the freedom to update our service offerings in line with new optical technologies (as they are released), lens advances and frame ranges, to ensure you receive the most comprehensive and up-to-date eyecare there is.

Andrew Bowden
Optometry runs in my family, with 5 optometrists in the family to date! My dad had his own practice and I always wanted to do the same and help people. I've been a practicing optometrist for 24 years now. I love what I do and as it's my own business, I have the flexibility to offer unique services that aren't commonly available in many practices. In particular, I love that many of my clients have trusted me with their eye health for over 20 years. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 kids, listening to music, going to concerts, watching the basketball and cricket and supporting the QLD Reds in rugby. I also love travel and reading good books.
Cassie Baan
I didn't actually choose to become optometrist - it was a series of happy accidents but I'm glad it happened and have been a practicing optometrist for 2 years now. I enjoy interacting with people from different walks of life and helping to improve their life through their vision, and thereby how they view the world. In my spare time, I love spending time with my dog, acting and playing board games and card games.
Nicole Arnold
I've always loved science, especially in the medical field. I wanted to find a profession that enabled me to use this in practice so optometry seemed like the perfect fit for me, and it has been! I've been practicing optometry for 24 years. Having 4 children gives me lots to do in my spare time, I love spending time with them and my husband. We like going camping, especially near a beach, and watching family movies. I also enjoy reading.
Giving back
Our practice is passionate about helping everyone see better, especially those less fortunate. This has driven our support for aiding the vision impaired overseas through the Optometry Giving Sight charity, and we support Guide Dogs in their work to assist locals with a visual impairment.
