Envision Optical has been a family owned business for 21 years and counting. As a third generation optometrist, Andrew is passionate about the role clear vision plays in allowing us to experience all that life has to offer. We are committed to providing personalised and comprehensive eyecare for the whole family, offering the latest optical technologies and a wide range of specialty services including complex contact lenses, myopia control and Ortho-K, as well as an advanced Dry Eye clinic. Our optometrists, Andrew and Cassie, are both therapeutically endorsed and thus can prescribe medication for the treatment of eye conditions.

Andrew Bowden
Optometry runs in my family, with 5 optometrists in the family to date! My dad had his own practice and I always wanted to do the same and help people. I've been a practicing optometrist for 24 years now. I love what I do and as it's my own business, I have the flexibility to offer unique services that aren't commonly available in many practices. In particular, I love that many of my clients have trusted me with their eye health for over 20 years. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 kids, listening to music, going to concerts, watching the basketball and cricket and supporting the QLD Reds in rugby. I also love travel and reading good books.
Cassie Baan
I didn't actually choose to become optometrist - it was a series of happy accidents but I'm glad it happened and have been a practicing optometrist for 2 years now. I enjoy interacting with people from different walks of life and helping to improve their life through their vision, and thereby how they view the world. In my spare time, I love spending time with my dog, acting and playing board games and card games.
Nicole Arnold
I've always loved science, especially in the medical field. I wanted to find a profession that enabled me to use this in practice so optometry seemed like the perfect fit for me, and it has been! I've been practicing optometry for 24 years. Having 4 children gives me lots to do in my spare time, I love spending time with them and my husband. We like going camping, especially near a beach, and watching family movies. I also enjoy reading.
Giving back
We are passionate about helping everyone see better. For nine years we have supported Optometry Giving Sight in their work with overseas vision aid, as well as Guide Dogs in their local support of the vision impaired.
