Eyes On Queen Street is an independent optometry practice in the heart of Melbourne CBD. Our strength lies in the quality and experience of our staff and their ability to help with life’s varied visual and optical needs. Being independent allows us to look after our clients to the best of our knowledge and abilities. We are in control of what we order; we can supply frames, lenses and contact lenses from a wide range of distributors. This allows us to find the best optical solution that works for our client.

What we love about Melbourne?
Despite being in the city we work in a "village" environment. Located in the legal precinct, many of our clients know each other and often give each other help choosing glasses as they work nearby. We love people popping in as they walk pass to say a quick "Hello!" and let us know how they are! It is the vibrant local work community that makes our practice a fantastic place to work.

When I was in year 11 I was prescribed my first pair of glasses, I was very focused on science subjects and also loved fashion! After visiting the Optometrist myself I decided it would be the perfect career for me. It has been the perfect fit and has allowed me to spend time with my 3 wonderful children.
Ros Wells
Over my career as an Optometrist I have found a particular interest in ocular disease, contact lenses and laser surgery. When not at work I have fun caring for my two young children. I enjoy the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Katrina Renowden
I am a British qualified Dispensing Optician so my area is the frame and lens side of optics. I take your measurements and make sure your glasses are comfortable. It is a fantastic qualification which has allowed me to work in the UK, NZ and Australia meeting lots of interesting people and learn about new cultures!
Giving back
We have supported various community charities, whether it be donating our time or frames, in this country as well as places overseas such as Vietnam. We also work with the local Rotary Club, we are a drop off point for old glasses to be recycled.
