I was inspired to continue the optometry tradition of my parents, Geoff and Debbie Fitzpatrick. I knew I wanted to deliver an important health service in my community and was attracted to the challenge of running my own business. In my spare time, I enjoy sport, fitness and the great outdoors.
Kodie Van Dyk
I was interested in pursuing a career in rural health, and read an article about optometry being a rewarding career, which I've found to be absolutely true. I've been practising for 10 years, and when I'm outside the practice, I help look after the family farm.
Giving back
Our optometrists volunteer to speak with community groups regarding eye health, and Fitzpatrick Optometrists are inaugural Major Sponsor of local AFL club, the South Burnett Saints.
