At Hannaford Eyewear, we are a multi-award-winning optometry practice established in 2004. We pride ourselves on providing comprehensive knowledge and ethical service. Our practice and staff are actively engaged within the industry; with the development of the next generation of optical professionals through our teaching involvement with the School of Optometry and Vision Science at UNSW.
As an independent practice, we are able to grow professionally so that we can provide the best solutions for all your visual needs. It gives our practice the freedom to develop to its full potential and engage with the current research and developments in eye care to best benefit you.
The Southern Highlands is a beautiful part of Australia with a great sense of community. It is a friendly environment for all to live in and caring for our locals provides us with the opportunity for personal engagement with those in and around the Bowral area.
From 2004 to 2016, we have been visiting Nepal with Rotary Australia annually to help those less fortunate. This culminated with an eye hospital being established, comprising all levels of eye care from spectacle making to eye surgery. We were also involved in a similar project in Mongolia. On an ongoing basis, we continue to collect donated spectacles from the community; and have previously been guest speakers for various clubs, helped with home visits and provided vision screenings at schools.
