I believe that vision is the most precious of our senses. As an optometrist for over 15 years, I've seen how quality vision care can significantly improve someone's life. It brings me great joy to be able to help people by correcting their vision and bringing their eyes comfort. Outside of work, I keep busy with my 3 children and 2 dogs. Time with family and friends is so important to me. I also like to sneak a round of golf in when possible!

When I was a child, I suffered an eye injury and this experience helped me to appreciate people with vision impairments. I was inspired to become an optometrist as it provides me with an opportunity to give back to others. When I'm not working, my wife and 2 children are where I spend my time. We enjoy getting away for the weekend, either to the beach or camping.
Giving back
Our practice supports a number of initiatives: Sports Darling Downs (in particular the junior para-athletes), as well as local charities like Base Services, Youth Christian Learning Centre, MDA and other charity events. We are also a Queensland Children’s Hospital aligned optometrist.
