At Insightful Eye Care - Swan St Eye Centre, we have been proudly caring for the community and its surroundings for over 30 years. Our highly skilled team is comprised of experienced optometrists and qualified optical dispensers where our core focus is on providing you with eye care excellence tailored to you. Our comprehensive eye test runs for 40 minutes and involves a thorough assessment of your vision. Our practice has a wide range of eye care offerings, with a particular focus on short-sightedness, Ortho-K, progressive lenses, children’s vision and the management of more complex eye problems. To ensure we provide you with high-quality lenses, we proudly use one of the world’s leading manufacturers in precision optics, ZEISS from Germany.
As a proudly operating independent practice, we have the freedom to source a diverse range of vision solutions and eyewear so that we can give you the freedom of choice, without restrictions from retail initiatives. We can stay up-to-date and easily adaptable to the latest technologies and treatments in the optical industry to continue to provide a high level of care to each of you.
We are located in the premier foodie strip of Richmond, nestled amongst hipster shops, cafes, restaurants and co-working spaces all within 3kms of the city centre.
One of our optometrists, Darran, has travelled and volunteered internationally throughout Africa and East Timor with the Swiss Red Cross and Unite for Sight amongst others to provide complimentary eye tests, glasses and treatments to those less fortunate. We also perform annual vision screenings at local kindergartens with the aim of detecting any vision, behavioural and/or learning difficulties before children commence primary school the following year.
