At Karratha Eyecare, we are an independent, locally owned and operated eyecare facility committed to accommodating all of your vision needs. We provide complete health integration services, working closely with your health care practitioners and hospital-based professionals to ensure your quality and continuity of care. Our friendly team has over 10 years of combined experience in the optometry field.

We choose to be independent as it gives us the flexibility to spend the time we need to understand each individual's eyecare needs, and to provide them with a tailored solution to suit their unique lifestyles. We can also offer a wide range of high-quality frames and lenses, free from restrictions, and try to use Australian products whenever we can.

Being a smaller community, we find that our paths cross with our locals outside of the consulting room. This develops mateships outside the practice, which creates a sense of duty and service that is personal and unique for everyone we see. We love our local community, the multiculturalism, and its drive to better one another; and the land around us is endemic to Karratha. We are so privileged to work in regional Western Australia where indigenous Australian culture is so strong. The integration of our services to small regional communities is a priority for us and ensures the development and fostering of new relationships, which breaks ground on novel intervention treatment and the betterment of eye care Australia wide.

I grew up in Africa where services were not readily available. I vowed to gain a skill set I could use all over the world. I enjoy people, and optometry gives me the opportunity to show many different people every day that life can be fun and exciting and enables me to spend time in the community with them. In my spare time, I do a mix of activities, depending on the time of year, from motorbike riding, camping and fishing, to reading, and studying as well.
Giving back
Our practice donates to and sponsors local initiatives, sports teams, schools and social events. We also speak to and offer tutelage to graduating youth through job fares.
