Maureen Leach Optometrists has been committed to serving the people of Rochedale since March 1992. We are able to assess your vision and eye health using the latest optical equipment and technology available. Our comprehensive eye examinations go far beyond just testing to give you clear vision as we check all aspects of your visual system in order to ensure you have clear, comfortable and healthy eyes. We offer personalised service and love getting to know our patients and their families. We welcome seeing patients of all ages and enjoy being able to take time to give you advice on all things associated with great vision and eye care.

The independent path allows us the freedom to spend as much time as necessary with our patients to give them the very best eye care available. We enjoy being able to make our own informed decisions about all areas of optometry. As an independent we are able to provide the very best quality frames and lens options on the market and invest in the latest diagnostic equipment to allow for early detection of general eye health conditions.

What we love about Rochedale?
Our local area, including Rochedale, is very warm and inviting. It has lots of acreage still around, making it a lovely scenic area. We also enjoy that it is very community and family orientated. We now see large numbers of families up to three generations, who have been attending our practice for over two decades.

I chose to become an optometrist because I have worn glasses since I was five and was always curious as to why my eyes were different from others. I've now been practising for 36 years. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, three children and beautiful grandson, as well attending theatre and musical performances.
Giving back
At Maureen Leech Optometrist, we are always willing to support our local schools, sporting clubs and other local businesses. We especially encourage all teachers to attend learning seminars so that they are better able to identify their students with visual problems. Our practice supports eye care in third world countries on a regular basis. Maureen has been involved in Rotary for many years and is a Paul Harris Fellow.
