We aim to empower you by offering personalised care paired with modern technology so that no questions are left unanswered by the time you leave. We also want you to have choice when it comes to your eyewear (the fun part!). This combination of quality eyecare and eyewear is who we are. We do this because we love it. We proudly support independent optometry because we want to do eyecare right, to give everyone a comprehensive eye exam so that we fully understand you and your needs and eyewear to suit your lifestyle. Within our showroom lies hand-selected frames for your perusal, some of which can only be found at Monocle Optometry.

I chose to become an optometrist due to the interesting and helpful nature of the profession. I am always challenged to think critically, which I think is a great element of one's job. I've been an optometrist for 8 years now and each day keeps me on my toes. You really do see something new every day! Outside of work, I play volleyball, tennis and guitar. I also enjoy gardening and discussing anything about the Titanic for some strange reason.

I love helping people and optometry gives me the ability to do this in such a unique way! Being able to help people see better or to detect things of concern in their eyes that may relate to their overall health is fascinating. I've been an optometrist for 7 years. When I'm not working, I'm seeking out new restaurants, curating my closet, absorbed in a new podcast or book and playing netball.
Giving back
We try to be as green as possible. For example, we email all receipts where possible and are involved in the contact lens recycling program. We are also happy to accept donated glasses and pass them on to be used in mission trips.
