Located in Busselton for over 30 years, we love the relaxed pace of local life. From the beaches to the Karri forests. From the wineries to whale watching. We love being part of the close-knit community from the sports clubs, to the schools, the community groups and locals chatting on the street. Mr B’s is proud to be part of this vibrant community.

Peter McClurg
I found eyesight fascinating during science classes at school and was always keen to have a career where I dealt with people so Optometry was the perfect fit for me. Now being able to utilize the ever evolving new diagnostic equipment to look at patients' eye health and find solutions for their eyesight problems is extremely fulfilling. Outside the practice, I enjoy love spending time on outdoor pursuits with my family. I also enjoy coaching and mentoring young football (soccer players).
Alex Kaye
I am passionate about eye care – it brings together my interest in vision science and the joy of working with people. Since graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2017, I have provided clinical teaching to optometry students on regional placements and have gained additional training in children’s vision. In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors, especially bushwalking and surfing.
Paul Grunder
As a qualified ophthalmic lab technician and optical mechanic, I’m a passionate and fastidious spectacles maker that enjoys interacting with people. Outside of work, I have a love for motorbikes and enjoy country life and the outdoors.
Giving back
Mr B the Optometrist is proud to have been a collection point for spectacles used in overseas aid eye programs since 1999. Optometrist Peter McClurg has volunteered in overseas eye aid programs in Nepal and Indonesia. He was also part of the Outback Optometry Eye program for 10 years providing eye care services to isolated first nations communities in the Kimberley. Mr B donates to the Visibility Guide Dogs fund and Optometry Giving Sight
