Optometrist Parramatta has been proudly operating as an independent practice since 1988. Our optometrists have years of experience behind them in a variety of different areas, from contact lenses to research, myopia control to keratoconus and paediatric & Behavioural optometry. Whether it just be a general eye check-up or questions about contact lenses and suitable eye wear, we have a passion for wanting to help and strive to deliver the best products for your needs. We have put your needs first for almost thirty years, and that will never change.
We're more interested in making a difference than making a quick sale. We kept our practice independent to fulfil the needs of our customers, provide continuity of care and really get to know you. When you visit us, we know who you are. We impose no time limits for our exams, which allows our optometrists to be passionate, genuine and thorough- because vision is the our most precious sense and we can't afford to lose it.
In our 30 years in Parramatta, we have seen the landscape of this city change vastly. We're excited to see Parramatta continue to grow into the vibrant and thriving city it will become. We love how multicultural the area is and believe the mixed demographic of clients and workers adds a vibrancy to the area.
We have always believed in giving back, and that it's the small changes we do as individuals that make a difference. In our practice, we endeavour to use only recycled paper and biodegradable plastic products. Our staff each have their own individual KeepCup! Locally, we are a part of Vision Australia, which helps disadvantaged Australians by providing free spectacles and eye care. We also work with a number of refugee organisations in Sydney in a similar capacity. On a larger scale, we support Lions' Recycle for Sight Program and encourage our patients to donate their old spectacles for distribution to developing countries. Nick and Gloria, the practice owners, also volunteered overseas a number of times in Tanzania, Africa and the Pacific Islands. In 2016 and continuing into 2017, we sponsor the A21 organisation- a non-profit organization fighting to end human trafficking globally. An estimated 27 million people worldwide are currently exploited against their will with the average age of a trafficking victim just 12 years old.
