Specialeyes by Susan Walton Optometrist Newcastle is a family run and operated business. Susan is our Optometrist with a passion for Behavioural Optometry and her daughter, Hannah, is our Accredited Vision therapist.

Susan Walton
I have always been interested in the science/maths side of things and wanted to do something that involved helping people. Behavioural Optometry was the perfect way to follow this mindset. Outside of work I do the local ParkRun on a weekly basis, and also play Hockey.
Hannah Walton (Vision Therapist)
I chose to become a Vision Therapist to help children and adults to improve their general functioning. Outside of work I enjoy playing hockey on a weekly basis alongside Susan, Scrapbooking, photography and spending much needed leisure time with horses.
Giving back
We support Guide Dogs with regular donations and collect old frames for Lions Club to be provided to the less fortunate.
