Young Eyes is a family-owned optometrist in Young operating since 2003. We combine highly skilled and loyal professionals with state-of-the-art optical technology. Janine takes the time to assess your eye health and vision, and provides you with the best alternatives to help you see clearly now and into the future. Janine's husband, Simon, left his career as a practising vet to help run the practice leaving Janine to focus on the care of her patients.

I chose to become an optometrist when one day my dad came home from playing golf with his friends, the local pharmacist and optometrist. He told me how much Mr Webster loved his job. That was 26 years ago and I still love it every day. Outside of work I love spending time with the kids and cycling with my husband.
Giving back
Young Eyes sponsors many local events and especially the Young Regional School of Music. Janine also visits Sumba in Indonesia as a part of a trip organised by the Australian College of Surgeons, to provide eyecare to the local people who cannot access this service.
